Redwoods Vacation

A couple weeks ago Cody and I visited the Redwoods National Park in California.  We had a great time and I of course took a zillion pictures.  Cody told me that he wants me to get really good at photography and become a travel photographer so we can get paid to travel the world and take photos.  I think I'll just stick with it for fun now.  I absolutely love how some of these turned out!  If you want to read about what we did on our trip head over to my other blog!

Solitude at Night

About a month ago my mom's side of the family went up to Solitude Ski Resort for a little family gathering.  I wanted to try some night photography again, so one night Cody and I headed up into the mountains a little ways and I snapped some photos of Solitude Village.  They turned out pretty good and I am pleased with the results!

Winter Photos

So back in January, when we actually had a little bit of snow, Brooke and I headed up to Tibble Fork Reservoir to take some winter pictures!  It wasn't very cold, except at the end when the wind picked up, but I still had fun and got some cool shots.

Christmas Tree

I know Christmas was a while ago, but I just barely got around to editing these photos.  Working full time sure can take up most of your days!  Anyway, I wanted to take a picture of my Christmas tree where the lights were really bright and it just looked really pretty.  So I tried it and I am quite pleased with the results.

Dyches Family

A while ago I took some pictures for my cousin Kaitlin and her little family. It was my first time photographing a dog! But it turned out to be pretty fun and the pictures turned out pretty cute too.

Moab Nature Photos

Back in October Cody and I went down to Moab to go camping with his family. I wanted to try some night photography, but it didn't quite turn out. So I got some other pictures instead. I mean, let's be honest, Moab is a gorgeous place night or day! I would like to go back and perfect my night photography, because the stars were absolutely gorgeous. Anyway, here are a few pictures I got that turned out.
